Description
Description
The Scott Aspect 950 is an ideal mountain bike for anyone who wants to start exploring off-road riding.
Good value for money
The Scott Aspect is a very solid and respectable mountain bike. Its 18 gears and hydraulic disc brakes give you excellent support on your gravel tours.
If you're looking to get started riding on dirt roads, check out the Scott Aspect 950.
The base of the Scott Aspect is its aluminium frame. The cables are integrated into the frame, protecting them from splashing mud. This means the cables don't get as dirty and last much longer. To make cycling on unpaved roads more comfortable, Scott has installed a fork with lock-out. Lockout allows you to adjust the suspension travel while riding. On tarmac you need much less suspension than on dirt roads. Now, you can lock out your suspension travel on the asphalt, which allows you to ride as efficiently as possible everywhere.
Shifting and braking
This bike is fitted with the Shimano Altus groupset. This groupset is used on many beginner mountain bikes, so it has great gear-shifting performance. The MTB is fitted with an 11/36 cassette, which means you'll be able to tackle steep climbs with a comfortable gear. The brakes are hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro. These brakes excel in terms of their enormous power, and they are also very easy to modulate. The brakes on the Aspect 950 are also reliable when riding on wet surfaces.
